Rheumatology Rehabilitation Service provides rehabilitation in extremity fractures, peripheral nerve injuries, cervical and lumbar disc herniations, polyneuropathies, myopathies, tendon injuries, joint mobility restrictions and deformities due to rheumatic diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis and musculoskeletal diseases such as age- related osteoarthritis. In line with the diagnoses of the patients, exercise programs, electrical stimulation, hand rehabilitation, therapeutic pool exercises aim to increase the functionality of the patients. Additionally,vocational rehabilitation and psychosocial rehabilitation treatments are provided for the purpose of physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Ultrasound guided musculoskeletal interventions can be applied for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases in our service. In addition, radiofrequency ablation can be performed for treating persistant pain. Interventional pain procedures (transforaminal injections, caudal injection, facet joint injections) are also applied under imaging guidance in patients diagnosed with intervertebral disc diseases (cervical and lumbar disc herniations) and osteoarthritis (spine arthritis) in the interventional pain unit.
