Diet and Nutrition

Our dietitians, plan specific diet treatments for the patients in our inpatient services according to their health conditions and nutritional status. The various diet plans are prepared in a variety of consistency according to severity of patients’ swallowing-eating disorders. Oral, nasogastric, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ) programs are planned, applied and monitored regularly to the patients who need enteral nutrition support. Patients that are referred to our nutrition and diet polyclinic are served until 2:00 pm. Our dietitians are also involved in the management, organization and supervision of the kitchen staff. Menus are planned, applied and supervised according to the nutritional principles for the staff, patients and their attendants in aim toensure a healthy and balanced diet.
