Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practice Center (GETAT)
Our hospital, which provides comprehensive health services in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation to all our citizens, especially our veterans and those injured in internal security operations, has been authorized to operate a Traditional and Complementary Medicine (GETAT) Application Center since September 14, 2017. In our center, GETAT applications are carried out by specialist physicians in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, in accordance with modern medical principles and in collaboration with relevant departments.
Traditional and Complementary Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive system of scientifically based complementary treatment methods that draw upon the knowledge accumulated from different cultures and aim to protect the physical and mental health of individuals, prevent diseases, and treat them. TCM practices are not alternatives to modern medical treatments; rather, they support evidence-based medical approaches.
Our GETAT (Traditional and Complementary Medicine) Application Center is the first of its kind among physical therapy and rehabilitation hospitals, and aims to be among the leading healthcare institutions in this field in our country. The methods applied in our center are planned to support the rehabilitation process, especially in musculoskeletal diseases, chronic pain syndromes, and functional limitations.
Patients who apply to our center first undergo a detailed medical history and a comprehensive physical examination by the attending physician. Necessary laboratory and imaging tests are conducted to holistically assess the patient's overall health status. Based on this assessment, the most appropriate traditional and complementary medicine (TCM) treatment is determined according to the patient's clinical condition and needs, a personalized treatment plan is created, and the treatment process is initiated. TCM practices are performed in hygienic, safe, and modern facilities that comply with standards set by the Ministry of Health.
MESOTHERAPY
Mezoterapi; bitkisel veya farmakolojik ilaçların, küçük dozlarda ve özel tekniklerle cilt içine uygulanması esasına dayanan bir tedavi yöntemidir. Bu yöntemde amaç, ilacın doğrudan sorunlu bölgeye ulaştırılarak lokal ve hedefe yönelik etki sağlamasıdır.
Mezoterapi; kronik kas-iskelet sistemi ağrıları, spor yaralanmaları, kas ve tendon zorlanmaları gibi durumlarda uygulanmaktadır. Bölgesel uygulama sayesinde ağrının azaltılması, dolaşımın artırılması ve iyileşme sürecinin desteklenmesi hedeflenmektedir.
Mesotherapy is a treatment method based on the application of herbal or pharmacological drugs in small doses into the skin using special techniques. The aim of this method is to deliver the drug directly to the problematic area, providing a local and targeted effect. Mesotherapy is applied in conditions such as chronic musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and muscle and tendon strains. Through localized application, the goal is to reduce pain, increase circulation, and support the healing process.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a treatment method based on stimulating specific anatomical points on the body with thin, sterile needles. These stimulations trigger the release of various neurotransmitters through the central nervous system, providing pain control and functional regulation. Acupuncture applications are used as supportive treatment in musculoskeletal diseases, primarily neck, back, and joint pain, as well as in conditions such as migraines and headaches, sleep disorders, stress, and anxiety. The aim is to reduce pain, promote muscle relaxation, and improve the patient's overall well-being.
PROLOTHERAPY
Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection treatment method aimed at strengthening tendons and ligaments that provide joint stability. Special solutions are applied to damaged or weakened ligaments and tendons, stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms. Prolotherapy is used for lower back, neck, and shoulder pain, joint instability, pain due to osteoarthritis, sports injuries, and repetitive strains. The goal of the treatment is to reduce pain and increase functional capacity by strengthening ligaments and tendons.

OZONE THERAPY
Ozone therapy is a complementary treatment method based on the application of ozone gas, obtained from medical oxygen, to the body using appropriate methods. Ozone supports tissue regeneration by increasing cellular oxygenation and contributes to the activation of antioxidant defense systems. In musculoskeletal diseases, ozone therapy is used in addition to physical therapy and rehabilitation applications in conditions such as joint pain, osteoarthritis, herniated discs in the back and neck, and fibromyalgia. The main goal of the treatment is to reduce pain, improve circulation, and accelerate the healing process.
