Robotic Gait Rehabilitation Unit

The robot-assisted walking device is mostly used in patients receiving brain injury and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. The device reduces the patient's body weight with the help of a suspension-pulley system and makes reciprocal walking movement with robotic parts attached to both legs. During this movement, visual and auditory stimuli are sent to the brain via the screen in front of the patient. Thus, walking warnings are sent to the brain and it is aimed to remind the walking action that the brain forgot or to reconstruct the walking style that has deteriorated after the disease. In addition, this system helps to strengthen the muscles, increase blood circulation, and the proper functioning of the digestive and excretory systems in patients. The device can be used in both adult and pediatric patients.
