Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit
In pediatric rehabilitation, unit training sessions are performed for children aged between 0-16 years whose physical abilities are reduced or lost due to etiologies such as cerebral palsy, muscle diseases, spinal cord injury and brain injury, as well as accidents, traumas and injuries. In the unit, there are devices and treatment tools that increase the exercise motivation of pediatric patients and support their treatment programmes.
It is aimed to regain the walking function of pediatric patients by the weighted treadmill (Visio Gait) device in this unit. In Visio Gait based therapy programme, the patient's body weight is reduced with the help of a suspension-pulley system, walking exercises are performed with the existing muscle strength, and the patient's participation in the treatment is tried to be kept at the highest level with the visual stimuli on the screen at the same time.
