Occupational Therapy
In the Occupational Therapy Unit, patients are trained to be independent in activities of daily living . It is aimed for patients to be independent in their daily living activities like dressing, undressing, eating, personal care and transferring (being able to move in and out of bed or a chair without help).Training sessions are performed for patients and their families when necessary, in a therapy unit, model house and model street.
These trainings accelerate the patient's adaptation process.The most suitable wheelchair is also selected for the patient and a training programme for using wheelchair is performed in the Occupational Theraphy Unit.
