Recreational Rehabilitation Unit

FES, Mechanical exercise, EMG biofeedback, passive hand therapy, and exercise groups which consist of patients diagnosed with stroke, spinal cord injury, degenerative joint diseases are included in this section.

In the FES section; it is aimed to increase muscle strength and provide ease of movement with stimulation supported cycling exercises.

In the mechanical exercise unit; patients are offered weight training under the supervision of a physiotherapist, and it is aimed to achieve the targeted muscle strength faster during the treatment process




                                                                            

In passive hand therapy; Exercises are performed to increase hand functions by stimulating them with pneumatic hand stretching devices.

In the unit where group treatments take place; patients are divided according to the type of diseases (spinal cord injury, brain injury or degenerative joint diseases), and exercises are performed under the guidance and supervision of the physiotherapist. Performing the exercises with a group makes the rehabilitation programme more enjoyable by increasing motivation and the power to cope with difficulties.
