A ceremony was held at our hospital on February 18, 2026, with the participation of our heroic veterans, administrators, staff, and patients, to celebrate the retirement of our personnel in 2025 and those who have completed 20 years or more of service. Following a speech by our Chief Physician, Prof. Dr. Engin KOYUNCU, who expressed his gratitude to all personnel for their outstanding efforts and dedication and wished them success and well-being, commemorative plaques were presented to the retiring personnel by our administrators, and certificates of appreciation were given to those who completed 20 years of service, after which a commemorative photograph was taken.
The ceremony continued with speeches by Ms. Özlem BAYRAKTAR on behalf of the retiring personnel and Specialist Dr. Muhittin ALKIŞ on behalf of the personnel who completed 20 years of service.
At the end of our ceremony, where our veterans and personnel enjoyed delightful and enthusiastic moments with the beautiful folk songs of the Turna Turkish Folk Music Ensemble, our Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Engin KOYUNCU and MSB Coordination Branch A. Health Colonel Zeynep CANBOLAT presented a handmade Ebru artwork by our veterans to the Turna Turkish Folk Music Choir Conductor, Retired Air Defense Colonel Ümit ŞAHİN, with thanks and best wishes for his contribution to our special day.
